You may have noticed my silence on here. It has been a difficult last few weeks. 3 weeks ago my gentleman of a dad passed away. He fought the best battle he could against Lymphoma, but in the end his body was not strong enough and his spirit has gone on to a more beautiful and peaceful place. He was very much loved, and is deeply missed. I have been spending time back home in Ireland, and am now finding a new normal here in Sheffield. It is taking a bit longer than I had hoped to get into a working rhythm, but I am getting there, slowly. Losing a loved one is harder than I thought. For those of you who are grieving loved ones through this covid period, and to those of you who have shared with me your story, you especially right now have my love and thoughts. Over this last three weeks politically so much has happened, I feel like I haven’t been able to keep up through this. To those fighting the BLM battle, thank you, I am with you. Expect to see more of me on here, there is a
Women's PLU's in Swimming Pool CC leather, finished with Vibram Odessa sole and British woven waxed cotton laces. This is a beautifully thick yet soft leather, which with a little love should last for many, many years. As always, when the time comes these shoes are fully resoleable and repairable, truly designed to last.
Kicking the week off with a pair of custom PLUs, in two tone Red & Navy blue Montana leathers, with Vibram Odessa sole and red woven cotton laces. Some people just know exactly what they want! I don't usually work Mondays, but with our home week days now involving 3 full-of-life under 8 year olds, I'll take whatever days I can get into the workshop! One day my actually shop will be open again, and I cannot wait. Until then, keep well, play safe, wash your hands and tell people you love them.
Made, boxed and ready to go, a pair of Mens Chukka boots in Navy Montana leather, with white Vibram Cristy sole, and extra side rivet detail by special request. If you're waiting on a parcel from me, it might take a little longer, as the local post office I can walk to was closed this afternoon. Will get them all to you asap!
